Never tried fruit in salad before? It’s about time you do because it is perfect for a light, summertime lunch and adds a little sweetness! The combination of turkey, strawberry and avocado might throw you off, but it’s one of those “don’t knock it till ya try it” combinations!
Super easy to throw together for a quick lunch or also would make a perfect side to dinner! The ingredients and list of things you could add to this salad are endless, but I stuck to a pretty simple list!
Within minutes, this bright and beautiful spring salad is ready to enjoy! It’s sweet, creamy, crunchy and tangy – pretty much everything you could ask for in a good salad.
Feel free to switch up the turkey with grilled chicken, tuna, or any other protein you like!
- 3 Cups Spinach/Arugula Mix
- 2 Slices of Honey Roasted Turkey Breast (I used Kirkland brand)
- 5 Strawberries (sliced)
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1 Tbsp Chopped Walnuts
- A few sliced Red Onion
- 2 Tbsp Skinny Girl Raspberry Vinaigrette
- Like any ole salad, all you gotta do is chop/cut everything up and throw it in a bowl.
